I’m looking to create a beautiful keepsake out of my wedding dress. Does anyone have any good ideas, or patterns? I’ve thought about maybe a pillow, but that seems a little common.

You could buy a doll and have a dress made for the doll out of your dress.
Some people will have the dress cut into Christening outfits if they think they might have their future children baptized.
You could cut pieces of the fabric and lace and have them framed like a picture, or in a shadow box with your wedding picture.
You could make fabric flowers out of the material and turn it into a bouquet and put that in a shadow box or under a dome.

I’ve seen photos of wedding dress quilts, and they’re lovely. Unfortunately, they aren’t washable. Do a web search to see some samples.
the most beautiful item I saw was two Christening gowns made for a woman’s twin daughters,from her wedding gown. I thought what a fabulous keepsake.
