Have you considered finding a dress in the style you like and trying to get a dressmaker to make it in the color you want with a few differences. That might be a better option. And if money is of no concern you should be able to find someone with the skill to do it.

Can’t you search on the internet for one?

You may have to order one through an online retailer. I thought of maggie sottero dresses but they don’t have any retailers in South Africa.

    Jasmine Bridal has locations.

If these stores are near you, look through their collections and see if there is anything you like. Mary’s bridal especially has lots of princess style dresses.

I would focus on searching for the style you want, not in a specific colour. Many bridal stores (especially smaller ones, not as much in the big warehouse/chain stores) offer a huge selection of customization for dresses they have samples of. The style you describe is quite popular, and I know when I was shopping around for ideas, many of the bridal stores told me that ordering a dress in a different colour was a popular “customization” for brides to do. It usually doesn’t even cost more money because most bridal gowns are actually made-to-order anyway.

I would continue to shop around and talk to the sales people in the store about what options you have. The reason why most bridal shops offer absolutely NO refunds after your order is placed is because the dress is not made until you order it (so designers don’t have to store 100s of wedding gowns in every size in warehouses). So it is very likely that the style of dress style you fall in love with can be ordered in champagne.

    Good Luck!

Instead of looking for the color of the gown I would try looking for the style that you want. Once you find the style you can always order it in a different color.
Here are a few dresses that you might like. Hopefully you will be able to find some place or someone in your area that carries it or can make it for you. Good luck!

Some advice if you do decide to design your own is just find a picture of a dress where you like just the top part, one where you just like the back part, one where you just like the bottom. Take the pictures to the dress maker and point out all the details you like and they can use them all to make your unique dress.
