How long did it take you to make one bouquet? How long do they last without water? Would you recommend making the bouquets the night before and keep it in the fridge?
These are very fresh flowers. They don’t need water because they will be used that night and orchids are ok without water for several hours. Other flowers do not hold up well without water. Thanks!
Hi i really loved this video!! I was just curious about the freshness of the flowers are they real? If so how should i do to make them fresh cause it looks kike you didn t use any water at all?
from what country are you?, just curious about the way you make your flowers . here in the philippines we only have simple but elegant i can say designs. i like your designs
From the video, you can see that the flower stem is cut very short. I leave 1/4 inch of the stem, then I insert the wire perpendicular to the flower bud, close to the junction of the stem and the bud. The wire then “becomes” the sturdy stem.
you are certainly talented..I do have a question for you, why is there green showing at the bottom of the nosegay? And how do you keep those flowers fresh if you dont have a walk in cooler?
thanks for your help,
Jan
I usually make everything the day before the event. But, I have a walk-in cooler which most people do not have. DO NOT place any flowers in the refrigerator. It is too COLD! You can make items the day before and store near an a/c unit or in a cool room/basement with the lights on and in a vase of water. Even though the flowers are in a bouquet or arranngement, they still need to drink. Spray boutinneres with water. Spray most flower bouquets, too, with a spray bottle.

Jose
When you say to put the wire through the stem do you mean up the stem or piercing through the side?
