   There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding Anne Lise and the “Rendezvous” CD. After a bit of research, I’ve discovered that “Rendezvous” was done by Canada’s Julie Crochetiere. I can’t rate this CD one way or the other but “Rendezvous” is really a discovery and I’ve just ordered the new CD by Julie Crochetiere.

   While Driving from North Carolina to Michigan, I always looked forward to hearing the First Dance CD by Julie “Anne Lise” Crochetiere! If you truly want to appreciate life, hit the open road, leave your worries behind, and let Anne Lise help you find & celebrate what got lost in the day-to-day grind: S-O-U-L!!!

   I don’t know whether Anne or Julie is her alias but the voice is unmistakeable. You can’t help but pay attention when she sings. This album contains a number of standards, any one of which is likely someone’s favorite.

   This CD is almost always in my stereo. I bought it a couple of years ago when our daughter was getting married. I gave it to her to listen to and missed it so much I went and bought myself another copy. What brought me to writing this review is I got online looking for more music by Anne Lise (the gal singing) and haven’t been able to find anymore. I hope she makes further CD’s because I really like her voice and the style she did on this CD. Everyone that hears it at my house enjoys it as well.

   I love this CD. I play it when I am sad, happy, lonely, whatever mood I may be in. I enjoy it more than the one recorded under the name of Julie Crochetiere. Sultry, sexy, clear as crystal voice.
