I love this CD. I play it when I am sad, happy, lonely, whatever mood I may be in. I enjoy it more than the one recorded under the name of Julie Crochetiere. Sultry, sexy, clear as crystal voice.

This CD is almost always in my stereo. I bought it a couple of years ago when our daughter was getting married. I gave it to her to listen to and missed it so much I went and bought myself another copy. What brought me to writing this review is I got online looking for more music by Anne Lise (the gal singing) and haven’t been able to find anymore. I hope she makes further CD’s because I really like her voice and the style she did on this CD. Everyone that hears it at my house enjoys it as well.

I don’t know whether Anne or Julie is her alias but the voice is unmistakeable. You can’t help but pay attention when she sings. This album contains a number of standards, any one of which is likely someone’s favorite.

While Driving from North Carolina to Michigan, I always looked forward to hearing the First Dance CD by Julie “Anne Lise” Crochetiere! There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding Anne Lise and the “Rendezvous” CD. After a bit of research, I’ve discovered that “Rendezvous” was done by Canada’s Julie Crochetiere. I can’t rate this CD one way or the other but “Rendezvous” is really a discovery and I’ve just ordered the new CD by Julie Crochetiere.
