Martha had everything: Voice, style, looks, grace. Everyone who worked with her loved her. Astaire loved working with Hayworth; it’s mostly forgotten today she began as a dancer with her famous father. Hollywood loved her but she had a very messy life sadly.
Thanks for posting these wonderful (Rockin’) videos of Martha Tilton. You have shown me what real entertainers are (were) all about. Her films are all worth watching even when she only does one song; the Soundies are the BEST.
Thanks again !
@waynebrasler what a wonderful dancing pair.Only if there were no everlasting interruptions(buffering), could watch videos forever.
Really enjoyable, fun and sweet. Hooray for Hollywood!

Just marvelous!
Love Hayworth and Astaire! Unmatchable class! This clip does take a shot gun wedding to another level, though!
Swing it good ‘ole Martha Tilton
There were lots of marriages during World War II. Most were not as fun or spectacular as this one, however.
No mere wedding cake for Fred and Rita – instead, there’s a gigantic wedding tank.
CRAZY!! CRAZY COOL THOUGH!!!!
Lol. It wasn’t THAT bad. But lol.
Ahahaha. Can anyone say “Busby Berkeley”?
