Islam give guidelines but no set type or style.
The hijab code is still observed during the wedding ceremony. The dress the bride chooses must be modest, not tight and showing her body, material must not be transparent, covering her hair and head, cannot resemble man’s clothing.
Can be any color, as long as it is not too eye-catching, like hot pink or something, but again who would wear that for their wedding lol.
Mixing between genders is not allowed. So many women might be inclined to wear whatever and show more than they should.
Yes, a wedding celebration should be a happy occasion, but within boundaries. Women are separated from men so that both men and women can enjoy the party. Women in the separated room are allowed to freely talk with another, laugh, eat and drink anything that is not forbidden, some even might opt for some music that is within the accepted limits. Same for men. IF they had been mixed then they would be able to do so freely since both would have to lower their gazes and talk in modest low voices, etc….
