Wedding Decors for That Special Day
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
Copyright (c) 2008 Writer fill
One of the most anticipated events in a person’s life is the day we walk down the altar to mark the beginning of spending an entire lifetime with our better half. This is the reason why much attention and effort is paid to details and even money is not spared. Aside from the dresses of the couple and entourage, the reception and venue, wedding decors are also popular since they help emphasize the wedding’s motif.
Making sure that the wedding decor will compliment each other can help make the entire celebration memorable.
Let’s start with the invitation first. From the envelope to the paper used, the details normally undergo a thorough deliberation. The invitation starts the list of wedding decors and inspires the rest of the motif. It should embody the couple’s desire to share their joining day with the guests. Little ribbons are also found in the letters.
Flowers and complimentary decorations are next on the decorations list. Never go for plastic ones as it is considered as a major crime. The flowers can either be in different shades of the color motif while some couples tend to choose the colorful bunch in mix matches. If you choose different colors and the wild array of flowers, make sure that all the other details, especially the couple itself, won’t fade in the background. Types and variants of the flowers are also points that need to be considered. Ribbons and laces when added in the flowers would be a good touch.
Table pieces in the reception area are organized to form a pattern and coordinate with the theme. Flowers are also effective table centerpieces although they should not take much space from the tables. Silverwares and dining wares can also form a scheme. Candles are also placed beside the flowers to create a romantic and sentimental ambiance. Table clothes should also lend creativeness to the motif and make the table presentable.
Wedding souvenirs are one of the small items to look forward to and have made one of the top spots to consider in wedding decors. They include small figurines to elaborately carved wooden or glass pieces. Important details would be the wedding date, the venue, and of course, the name of the couple. To make it more memorable, a studio picture of the couple would go with the souvenir.
Fountains are now considered as good wedding decors. The sound of the water splashing adds up to the serenity of the event and calms the audience as well as the probably nervous couple. Choose a fountain that will not drown the ceremony, especially the part that you say your I do’s.
Attending to the details of the wedding decors are important and have become one of the biggest tasks of couples wanting to marry. Although the success in preparation is necessary, it by no means becomes the only determinant of the success in the ceremony. After all, it is the couple and their relationship that will pull off the entire event and give beauty to all the preparations.
