What is a tactful way to help wedding party pay for attire?

If the couple is very well off and wants a very dressy wedding, and most (not all) of the wedding party are struggling … what would be a tactful and gracious way for the couple to offer to help them out with attire expenses – preferably so that nobody ever has to speak aloud about dollar amounts – while leaving them pretty much completely free choice of what to wear?

I am planning a garden theme wedding for July of 2009. I am struggling because I am doing an indoor wedding reception and don’t know a good way to decorate and need some ideas. I was thinking something like bubble bowls filled with flowers, but I’m concerned that will be too plain… I need ideas for center peices and other decoration ideas as well.

In your honest opinion, what jobs to you expect your wedding party to complete? What do you expect them to do for you during the course of your wedding planning? What do you expect from them at the wedding?
I’m finding that so many brides expect too much from their bridal party and I’m wondering what other people consider to be a bridesmaid’s or MOH’s job? Is there anything you see other brides asking their bridal parties to do that’s asking too much?

Apart from the obvious (Monsoon, debenhams, BHS, littlewoods etc) are there any other high street shops that i could purchase for my beach wedding. I have 13 weeks (Getting married on 30th July 2009) in Barbados.
My dream is to have a basic/ simple silk wedding dress, A-line or empire.

I think out of planning my wedding the music has been the hardest thing yet! My future husband and I normally listen to bands such as; Mest, Green Day, Chance of a lifetime, Midtown, NOFX… etc. I want a soft song for our first dance, but I don’t want the “classic” stuff… I want something a little more “punk” and obscure. I want a gothic, medevil, vampiric wedding. I am having trouble finding things you need for a wedding other than the dress. Can anyone give me helpful websites. Also looking for ideas for a gothic themed wedding. Black horses, the whole 9 yards. Also running into dead ends looking for vampiric wedding attire for my man. If any of you have had a dark wedding please shed some light on where to find stuff.
