I’m making my own wedding invitations and on the front I would like (sorry I’m not sure what they are exactly called) the little square w/ our names. I’ve figured out the sizing and everything…but once I figure out what I want on the square and design it in Word or PowerPoint how do I print it so I have more than one on the paper and how do I get it so it will print small enough to fit on the square?

I’m getting married in 5 months, and I need assistance with wording the invitations. My mom, step-father, father, fiance’s mom and the 2 of us are paying for the wedding. How can I include everyone and make it look nice without it looking like it is rambling on?
So far these are all great answers! Hard to choose a best!
The reason I mentioned putting in everyones names was because of the web references I’ve seen so far – etiquette states to put in the names of the people who are hosting it.
Thanks to all =)

Never in my life have I been to a wedding that had good cake. They were all very pretty, but who wants to look at a cake? They’re for eating.

I’m a beginning wedding photographer. I’m simply not happy with how my indoor reception shots turn out. I use only Nikon and my SB-800 for a flash. Most receptions are so dimly lit for mood. Which makes my shots either washed out people and have black backgrounds. Or without enough flash the shots are dark and noisy. Help!
How can I correctly take well lit photos in dark rooms?
I do have the Cloud by Gary Fong. I don’t like it very much..

I have a few wedding and very important pictures that due to circumstances ( weather etc) were taken in cluttered backgrounds. I recently perfected a technique of cuttting people out of one picture and blending them in a far more flattering and beautiful scene from another picture in photoshop cs4.
My problem is where can I find a lot of photographs to do this.
googled for stock photos but finding it hard to find suitable stuff.
Advice greatly appreciated.

Why do people looking for photographers only pick photographers with fancy exspenive cameras or photographers with background shooting the said subject. Like for example, someone looking for wedding photos usually pick someone with background shooting weddings. Why? Isn’t someone who has experience doing portraitures who charges $2,000 less just as good? Why do people outside of photography think the camera is key? Isn’t skill the best?
