My wedding is September 12, 2009. I have my invitations all filled out and ready to go. I am going out of town on the 22nd, and I don’t want to worry about them while I’m gone. (Its my weekend of peace and relaxation. Haha.) I was wondering if its to soon to send them out now…?

I’ve heard of sending the president and mickey mouse invitations, but the celebrity I really love is Stephen Colbert! I have no fantasies of him actually showing up at my wedding, but a congrats letter from him might be nice. How can I mail him an invite? Anyone have his address?

My wedding is July 3rd 2010. All my invitations are ready to be mailed out. I’m very excited about mailing already. I’ve heard 6 to 8 weeks is the proper time. If I mail the end of this week like I’ve planned, it will be 9 weeks away. Would you hold it another week? Or does it really matter?

My friends are getting married next month. They are going back to their hometown for the wedding, which is halfway across the country from where they live. I don’t live in their hometown either. I wanted to give them a particularly large gift from their wedding registry. Is it okay to send it to them before the wedding? That way I won’t have to travel with the large gift and they won’t have to lug it back home after the wedding.

my fiance and her mother are currently living overseas. but i am planning to bring my fiance to united states by fiance’s k3 visa ( i am a US citizen ) and since we have to get married within 90 days of her arrival plus my fiance wants to have her mother here, is it possible to send my fiance’s mother a wedding invitation as soon as my fiance arrives here so her mother can get a temporary visa and come to USA for a while?
