I am making my own wedding invitations. Besides the invitation, reception card, and RSVP card; what else gets sent with the invite?
Thanks for all the great answers! Does anyone know where i can find a sample hotel and direction card? Or is this just done on paper? I don’t want anything tacky looking. I have spent so much time on invites…
Oh and don’t worry… I’m not including a gift registry. We aren’t even doing one at all.

I am getting married May 2012 and I am about to go back to my stationer and order my wedding invitations. How soon can I send them out and what’s the latest I can send them?

I just sent out my wedding invitations and the RSVP date is for august and we are getting married in may. We really need to know how many people are coming to order the food and the cake. Should I resend RSVP s with the correct date? or should I leave it and just start calling people a couple of weeks before the wedding if they have not responded.

I am giving the wedding for my daughter as a single parent and my name is on the invitation as the person who is inviting everyone. I am also totally paying for the wedding- She wants to put her name and address on the response card so that the responses will go to her directly as she has off during the summer as a teacher and thinks it would be easier that way to do the place cards.. I am not sure as I think it should be going to my home as I am giving the wedding? Any ideas about this? Thanks.
