Wedding photography by a studio photographer

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Weddings are busy, emotional and stressful days, and it is not surprising that amidst all the fuss, the wedding photos sometimes fall short of the mark. That’s why many married couples opt to have a second session in state-of-the-art photographic studios.

Such an experience offers the opportunity to try something a little different to the staged traditional shots associated with wedding photographs.

Venture does not do traditional wedding photography; it offers bespoke photography sessions through a nationwide network of professional photography studios.

Away from the stress-inducing big-day, Venture offers a relaxed, comfortable and professional atmosphere to celebrate this important event.

Brides can get their dress back on and the grooms can climb back in their suit to capture some totally different – and perfect – wedding memories.

After their honeymoon in some faraway destination, couples come back relaxed, tanned and ready to start their new life together. This is when many people decide to let a photography professional tell the real story of their relationship.

A Venture photo experience allows the portrait photographer to get to the very root of a couple and find out what makes them tick, to create a unique portrait.

During the hour in the photo studio, couples can try out all manner of weird and wonderful things.

Afterwards, Venture’s digital artists can work their magic on the portraits, playing around with colours, backgrounds and styles to fashion a contemporary work of art.

The images are then unveiled in an exclusive viewing where the happy couple pick out their favourites from the photo experience. Once this has been done, they can choose exclusive frames and displays that can suit all tastes and styles.

What is better: to hire a private wedding photographer or the one from a big photograhy studio?

How do I get more copies of wedding photos from proofs, when the photographer is dead and studio is closed?

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

The wedding was 11 years ago, photos were taken with film, received proofs of all photos. I now want to order more than the original package I had bought but the photographer is deceased and his studio closed. No one, as far as I know, has bought his inventory or his studio. I would like to get more pictures printed from the proofs but it wouldn’t work when I took the proofs to Walgreens to scan and print. The guy at the photo counter was no help and I don’t know what to do now. Thanks for any input.
