I’m getting married next year I designed and I’m making my own wedding dress,Since this is both of our second wedding we want to be a little untraditional.If you think about it,when your looking for a wedding dress in a differant color then white,off white or ivory and maybe black all you can find is prom dresses.your wedding should be exactly what you want.And for the untraditional bride I think there should be beautiful wedding gowns in shades from the lightest pink to the darkest blue what do you think?

She is a virgin bride, and the dress is very beautiful, but it’s not the traditional white. In fact, there is no white to be seen anywhere at the wedding.

My nephew will be 16 months old when I get married and I want him to be a part of the wedding. But I am a bit worried that he will get very distracted since it will be right on the beach. Do you think 16 months will be too young?
I thought I would add that his mother (my sister) will be in the wedding. Also, he will not be the only toddler in the wedding since my daughter will be in it. She will be 2 1/2 by the time of the wedding.

Do you think this is a good idea? Any suggestions on ways to use the pattern throughout the wedding or reception? I like the antique details but I want to blend it with a modern fresh look as well.

it’s coming down to the business end of my wedding planning & I’m trying to decide what we should get as the favors.
I’m leaning more towards something edible, but I really don’t like the sugared almonds, I think they’re a little outdated & seem a bit tacky.
in your own personal opinion what do you think are the best kind of wedding favors?
what would you want take home or would you “accidently” leave behind?

I want to promot that I do wedding flowers but I would like to do it in a very unusal way. I would like to do flowers at cost for some brides and help them with the color cordnation? Do you think this would work?
I am in East Texas but I would love to do this all over the country to get my name out!!!

My mom wants to make my wedding cake. I want a 3 tiered hexagonal cake. Our colors are navy blue, white, and silver. I hate fondant, so she’s using icing. I don’t really know what kind of design I want. I looked on The Knot and couldn’t really find anything that I liked. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How do you feel about black wedding dresses? I think white dresses with black detailing are pretty, but I can’t stand solid black dresses – too goth or funeral like.
